Follow it through with me: * Out of atomic systems come chemical systems. * Out of chemical systems comes the covalent hydrogen bond. * The carbon bond. Complex chemistry that is pre-biotic or organic. * Out of that chemistry come the macrophysical systems that we call membranes, gels, charge transfer complexes, this sort of thing. * These systems are the chemical pre-conditions for life. Simple life. * The life of prokaryotes. The life of naked unnucleatic DNA that characterized primitive life on the planet. * Out of that life come eukaryotes, nucleated cells, * and then complex colonies of cells, and then cell specialization, * leading to higher animals, * leading to social animals, * leading to complex social systems, * leading to technologies, * leading to globe-gödeling electronically-based information-transfer-oriented cultures like ourselves.

Now I want to show you another form of meditation, which I heard about from a Zen Buddhist master, who said it was the very best way. Would you all put your hands on your hips, with wrists upwards. Now let's all just laugh. [lmao x infinity] And sit down again That Zen master told me you should do first thing in the morning when you get up And it's even better than getting stiff Now how do you feel? Where was you when you were laughing? What is you now? Listen..

-- Dangerous Knowledge -- What could the greatest mathematician of his century have seen, that could drive him insane? Beyond infinity there's another larger infinity. And possibly even a whole hierarchy of different infinities. And he just goes totally beserk. And then you find bigger infinites, and bigger infinites, and even bigger infinities, and for every infinite series of infinities.. And this pattern continues, to the brink of insanity and over it into madness and suicide. Some things cannot be proved within any rational or logical system. But he says That doesn't matter because the human mind isn't limited that way, we have intuition. He proves that it is true, and then he's convinced that it's not true. Back and forth. Entangled in your own your own thoughts. Repeating the same concept and so on. So you can see he was in a loop. Proved that in fact there's no way of telling which will be the unprovable problems. (He's driving himself slowly insane.) So how do you know when to stop? Poisoned the apple.. with cyanide He had finally found a problem he desparately wanted to solve, but could not. He was now caught in a loop. A logical paradox. From which his mind could not escape. And at the same time he slowly starved himself to death. -- Isaac and CJ in the woods -- Isaac: lol CJ: I'm going around in loops Isaac. There's something beyond these loops I keep going thorugh. I keep reaching this point in time that I'm stuck in, where I keep realizing (oh shit I'm stuck in ths point in time) CJ: Then I realize that I'm only stuck here because I'm making myself stuck here. I can just will myself to leave. Isaac: Interesting. CJ: But then I realize (wait that's what I did last time (wait that's just like one of those loops.)) And then I think about (Oh I was just in a loop.) And then it's like (wait I'm stuck in a time loop, I keep going in loops.) Isaac: lol CJ: THATS IT. OH that's what it does! It actually goes around in a loop like that! And that this is what's going on in my brain? Ah fuck Isaac! I just need to take direction! Take. Direction. Oh this is outwards out of the loop Isaac, I need to take direction. I have to take direction OUT of the LOOPS. CJ and Isaac: I have to TAKE DIRECTION OUT OF THE LOOP cuz YOU... CJ: You CJ: Youuuuuu... awww oh okay Fuck. Okay. Alright. AH. We have to go through the loop again, and the next time we go through the loop, I'll tell you what *that* part was. Okay ready? Isaac: okay CJ: okay let's start again. Isaac: LMAO CJ: LMAO Isaac: CJ.. time loop? CJ: Ok ok. Wait wait. Isaac: OH CJ you did a really good job conveying that. CJ: Thank you! Isaac: You did a really good job conveying that CJ: Thank you! Thank you. CJ: You see it was all part of the time loop. And I can will myself into it. It was sort of like a joke. And it propels me upwards and then you see time loops happening. OH objects are the latest time loop. Isaac: That's kind of how it started. CJ: Totally totally Isaac. It is a loop. It is a loop. A time loop is something that's there, it doesn't go away, you're caught in it, until you take direction outside. That's what an objet is. You can time loop in your mind anything your brain can hold to analyze. It picks up something to question, 'oh maybe it's this?' it's like a totally new thing, something totally new that your brain hasn't seen before. CJ: Isaac you really have to listen to everything I'm saying. Isaac: Oh I am I am. CJ: I know I know no no no no no yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah CJ: There are future resolutions that we keep not coming to, over and over. And to break free you have to take direction. But right at this moment I feel inhibited to take direction. Isaac why at this moment do I feel inhibited to take direction? Wait I took direction. These loops are dangerous things. Isaac: Oh I know CJ: The thing is I create them just by going back to talking about them. lmao Isaac: Oh CJ, you get more and more lost. You analyze yourself analyzing yourself. CJ: Oh yeah Isaac oh yeah. Isaac: In these huge loops. CJ: That's totally true. Isaac: The thing is that your own thoughts loop themselves over and over again. CJ: Oh fuck that we are not going back to that loop. -- Shane LaFierce -- I'm stuck in a thought loop: I keep thinking about how I'm stuck in a thought loop. I need to take direction out of this thought loop, but I tried that last time, and I just ended up in another thought loop. I keep getting caught into thought loops. That itself is a loop. I'm stuck in more loops. The loops keep looping. If the loops keep looping then the loop loops are probably looping too. See, I keep thinking about how the loop loops are loop looping and its just a big looping loop that loops. Am I even still in this thought loop? All I'm really doing is adding more 'loops' to what I'm saying. I'm pretty sure I stopped thinking about thought loops a while ago...[ad lib]
